HOW DO I FIND OUT MY RING SIZE?
We understand that finding the right ring size can be tricky, which is why we are happy to introduce our latest tool just for you - the PALM. RING SIZE TOOL, which you can find by scrolling down.
If you would rather not wait and want to measure your size at home, we have several options for you. To help you, we have created a size chart, as shown below.
The method we often recommend is as follows:
- Take a thread or piece of paper and measure the circumference of the finger where you want to wear the ring. Make sure it is not too tight! Mark the overlap with a pen.
- Place the thread or the paper on a ruler and measure the length (circumference of the finger).
- Check the table below to see which ring size you need.
We measure our rings in US sizes, because that is the most common. If you still cannot figure out your ring size, no worries! Send an email to support@palm-jewelry.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How to measure your ring size for men - three methods
A good ring sits snug enough not to spin and loose enough to slide over your knuckle. Always measure the finger you will wear the ring on. There are three methods.
1. With the PALM. Ring Sizer
Slide the band around your finger. Pull it until it sits comfortably. Read your size at the arrow. Done. This is the most accurate method and works for every finger.
2. With a ring you already own
Take a ring that fits well. Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimetres. Compare that number with the chart below.
3. With a piece of string or paper
Wrap a thin piece of string around your finger. Mark where the end meets the string and measure that length with a ruler. That is your finger circumference. Find your size in the chart.

| 8 | 57 mm | 18.1 mm |
| 9 | 59.5 mm | 18.9 mm |
| 10 | 62 mm | 19.8 mm |
| 10.5 | 63.5 mm | 20.2 mm |
| 11 | 64.5 mm | 20.6 mm |
| 11.5 | 66 mm | 21.0 mm |
| 12 | 67 mm | 21.4 mm |
| 12.5 | 68.5 mm | 21.8 mm |
| 13 | 69.5 mm | 22.2 mm |
| 13.5 | 71 mm | 22.6 mm |
Most men wear size 10 to 11.5. In doubt between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
Measuring tips
- Measure at the end of the day. Your fingers are at their largest.
- Do not measure with cold hands. Cold fingers are slimmer.
- Going for a wide ring? Choose half a size larger.
- Measure two or three times to be sure.
Frequently asked questions
What is the average ring size for men?
Most men wear size 10 to 11.5. That equals a finger circumference of 62 to 66 mm.
Can I measure my ring size without a sizer?
Yes. Measure the inside diameter of a well-fitting ring, or wrap a string around your finger and measure the circumference. The sizer remains the most accurate method.
Which size do I choose when in doubt?
Choose the larger size. A ring that sits slightly looser wears more comfortably than a ring that pinches.
WHAT IS THE AVERAGE RING SIZE?
Average ring sizes can vary, but here are general guidelines for men:
Pinky finger: Average sizes are usually between 7 and 9.
Ring finger: For the ring finger, where men often wear wedding rings, average sizes are usually between 9 and 11.
Middle finger: Average sizes for the middle finger can be similar to those for the ring finger, ranging between 9 and 11.
Index finger: Average sizes for the index finger are similar to those for the middle finger, often between 9 and 11.
